What is a notary?
A notary serves as a State-authorized representative to verify the identity of the signer and prevent fraud. They confirm that the signer is named in the document and ensure all tasks are executed correctly. Notaries can also certify copies of original documents, excluding wills and birth/death certificates. What do I need to bring? Acceptable identification, preferably a current driver's license, is required. What is the cost? The cost is $15 per notary stamp, and appointments are not necessary. We can send faxes during regular business hours. We have fax cover sheets available for you if needed. We do not add charges for long distance when sending anywhere in North America.
